REGROOVED NZ – ILL BEHAVIOUR Take Over!! 23/08/12

The number one party rocker Slynk is back for two shows in New Zealand at this months Regrooved NZ.

At the end of January I had the pleasure of speaking to the Syndicate Snyper himself, Hip Hop Legend Donald D. Starting off his Hip Hop career in New York City as part of the B-Boys, Donald D went on to become ‘Notorious’ after a move to the West Coast where he become the linchpin in the Rhyme Syndicate. He went on to help write many of Ice T’s song.

Before De La Soul return with a brand new De La Album, De La Soul’s Plug 1 & Plug 2 present First Serve – The album out April 2nd. Watch the video for ‘Must B The Music’ the upcoming single from the animated world of De La Soul’s Plug 1 & Plug 2 present First Serve.

Chokalate & Khalid produced track, “Must B The Music”. The song is fun, and that is exactly what director Matt Stawski does a fine job of capturing with equal parts animation and real life. De La Soul’s Plug 1 & Plug 2 Present First Serve, the album, is due out April 2 via Duck Down.

Sadly after 15 years, one of the greatest urban record shops closes its doors for the final time.

2 Funky Record shop in Leicester is closing after supplying the UK’s finest DJ’s with the heaviest urban music for the past 15 years.
